Cuauhtemoc is located only 82 km west of Chihuahua, by highway No. 16
in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico. Cuauhtemoc is an important cattle and farming town known as the Granero del Estado.

Visit the Mennonite Museum to learn a little more about the culture and way of life of these people who are so uniquely different from our lifestyle. The museum has several rooms showing how the houses and the working areas used to be when these immigrants arrived. There is furniture, clothing, tools, ornaments and other items.

La Laguna de Bustillos

To the east of Cuauhtemoc, on highway 16, there is a turn off that after a scant 10 km northward leads to the towns of Anahuac and Bustillos and La Laguna de Bustillos, where you can engage in water sports and admire the duck, geese and crane, fowl in danger of extinction and here in Cuauhtemoc are cared and protected.
