Day 1: Just the beguiling.
Leaving from San Carlos, Sonora to El Fuerte, Sinaloa suggested departure at 10:30 AM. next stop the city of Navojoa, Sonora just in time for lunch. Arriving at “Casa Torres” an antique mansion-museum owned by the Torres family. After a private tour of the manor, you will be served an elegant lunch before continuing on with your trip to El Fuerte.
Upon arriving at El Fuerte, you will check in at the magnificent boutique hacienda Hotel Torres Del Fuerte a recently restored antique mansion located one block from the main plaza in the historical district. Bonifacio’s Gourmet Restaurant, Bar & Lounge locate inside your hotel will be hosting your group for dinner.

Day 2: El Fuerte day Tour
Enjoy the wonderful colonial town of El Fuerte. Today we have planned a full day for you, featuring the River Float Tour with Petroblyph exploration at the “Cerro de la Mascara” and a walking city tour with the history of this 400+ year old Colonial Jewel of El Fuerte.

Day 3: The Canyon connection.
This morning you will be taking the exciting El Chepe, the Copper Canyon train to Posada Barrancas, after arrival you will be transferred to the Mirador Hotel right on the rim of the canyon. A great location for scenic walks and exploration. One of the nearby hikes is “La Cueva del Chino” a cave dueling still inhabited by
Ramurari Indians. A short drive to the new Copper Canyon Adventure Park with very exciting rides: Cable way (3 mile long), Zip Lines, Suspension bridges, rock climbing, via ferrata, repel and Tarzan swing.

Day 4: The Canyon vehicle excursion and beyond.
AM: This morning we recommend you ask at the front desk of your hotel for a spectacular vehicle excision featuring great overlooks and Ramurari Indian handcrafts ans shopping at piedra vloada (the balancing rock), Las Escaleras (the ladders) and Dividadero’s adventure park and enjoy zip lining, and the amazing ride on the cable way high over the canyon.
PM: Relax and enjoy the wonderful area where you will board the first-class El Chepe train westbound to Bahichivo. Upon arrival you will be trasfered to Hotel Mission de Cerocahui, a fine lodge situated in a picturesque mountain valley. If time permits, take a short walk to the little plaxa and the mission that is only a few steps away from your beautiful hotel.

Day 5: The Cerro Gallegos overlook…
After brekfast you will travel to Cerocahui, one of the olderst mountain communities in the Sierra. Cerocahui is also home to one of the oldest (and Prettiest) churches in the region – a church with a surprising Asian connection. There is also a lovely Ramurari Children’s boarding school that you can visit while there.
From Cerocahui, you will travel past the mesa del Arturo brfore enjoying great views of both the Palestine and Urique Canyons and Ramirari homesteads from Cerro Gallegos . The vieas of Urique Canyon from Cerro Gallegos are truly epic and justifiably famous – most consider them the best views in Copper Canyon.
After enjoying youe morning in the Canyon atmosphere, you will return to the hotel for lunch and get board El Chepe on your return trip to El Fuerte. the timing of your return trip should provide some great photo oportunitieas, as you will be seeing the most dramatic part of the trip in the latre afternoon sun.
